The second public practice of the Green Bay Packers organized team activities Wednesday focused on red zone work for the offense.
Head Coach Matt LaFleur conducted a couple of team periods running plays inside the 20 yard line. Most of the action was through the air which is understandable. Without pads, it's hard to work on the running game but LaFleur says that will come.
We're only getting a glimpse of what LaFleur's offense will look like but there were plenty of tight bunch formations with wide receivers who break out in different directions headed toward mismatches in the secondary.
There was also the old standby, back-shoulder throws and Aaron Rodgers delivered a strike to Davante Adams for one touchdown.

Adams, who was in town last week but didn't participate in practices as a precaution, was a full participant on Wednesday. LaFleur said it was great to have him on the field because he sets the tone for the entire wide receiver group.
Four players were withheld from practice while recovering from injury, including Mike Daniels, Corey Linsley, Ty Summers and Greg Roberts.
Linsley joined the team to watch practice for the final 20 minutes.
Lucas Patrick stepped in with the first team offense at center with Justin McCray getting back-up reps.
Jason Spriggs got the call at right tackle in team periods for Bryan Bulaga. LaFleur said they have no concerns about Bulaga, it was simply a lighter workload day for the veteran.
Josh Jones remains the only AWOL player. The safety is skipping the voluntary OTA's to work out on his own in Florida although he has indicated a desire to get traded if his role on the defense doesn't increase.
After Wednesday's practice, LaFleur began his press conference by talking about last weekend's loss of a Packer legend.

The team will take Thursday off and return to practice on Friday and after the Green and Gold Charity softball game this weekend at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, players comeback for the final series of OTA workouts next week.
