Today the band Mammothor and their song "Hitcher" were featured for The Artist Spotlight. I had a chance to talk with frontman Travis Lowell last week about the song and the band's future plans.
He said "Hitcher" was inspired by an accident he witnessed several years ago where a pedestrian was struck by a car. Years later he said the music to "Hitcher" brought back memories from the accident. He said the story behind the song is what if someone was behind the wheel harming people on purpose and "Hitcher" was born.
